The night market at Kuantan
Night markets are a feature and a delight of small towns in Southeast Asia and the night market in Kuantan does not disappoint. Families with children, couples and groups of teenagers converge on the market to shop or snack or maybe just socialise. The hawkers and stalls have a tremendous range of fresh produce, but it is the street food, cooked fresh and ready to eat which makes these markets such a magnet.
You can pick your ingredients from seafood, meats, tofu and vegetables and watch it made into a laksa.
